Ohtels Cabogata

El hotel me pareció muy bueno , ubicación buena, servicio bueno y las instalaciones muy bien, el hotel se nota que no es nuevo nuevo, pero estaba muy bien. La habitación la cogí doble, y no se si por error o porque era así, me dieron una habitación grandisima que tenía hasta como una especie de saloncito con sofá, mesa y TV , detalle que me sorprendió para bien :) El bufett a mi parecer, era variado y todo muy rico. Personal amable. En resumen, si eliges esta zona para tus vacaciones , lo recomendaría seguro. Gracias!

Visited for a week as a couple, all inclusive, for a week in the sun , just to chill out away from home. Never visited before, on checking in, were directed to our room, later finding a shorter route back to the amenities. As our room was on the 2nd floor, just above reception with a mountain / land view as requested. Overlooked the peaceful golf course, not hearing any noise at all from the pool side all week. We normally visit Lanzarote and have picked up a little Spanish over the years. It's not hard to pick up the basics, Por Favor and Gracias, etc. At the end of the day, the hotel IS in Spain, cannot understand other reviews at all concerning language barrier. If we weren't sure, David at the pool bar became very helpful during our stay, who understands basic English. We were given wooden tokens for the pool bar, we learnt from Dave that these were for your glasses and on return you were given them back for your next visit to reduce the number of empty glasses being left around the pool. What a good idea. Understanding they were short staffed, the only complaint we really have is that the outside area and tables could do a constant clean, including the sofa area in the shade, this may reduce the flies. Overall, we had great service from David and Marta at the pool bar, of which drinks and ice cream are included in the all-inclusive, also think crisps and olives, but not the pizzas and burgers. The restaurant offered great food at good times - breakfast 8 until 1030 ( probably hence the pool not opening until 11 , which stayed open until 7pm or 8pm) Lunch 1330- 1500 and Dinner 1930 until 2200 all covered by the hardworking Antonio and team. Free drinking water dispensed from each bar throughout the day and with hotel water bottles available from reception is good value at 3€ . Our room was made up every day at the time we wanted with the use of DND signs available to hang on your door. Sheets and Towels changed once during the week, towels more often on request, but we had plenty to start with in our Junior Suite which came with 2 large twin beds, double sink en suite with separate WC and walk in Shower, and a Shower over bath. Also included where large balcony covering both living area and bedroom plus free safety deposit box and free air conditioning , which we needed this week as temperatures were a constant 37° all week even when it was a bit overcast. All in all, we enjoyed our week at the Ohtels Cabogata Plaza Suites.

The hotel was lovely, on arrival we were all upgraded to a suite. Jet 2 need to advise customers that this is more aimed at the Spanish than English. The staff spoke little English, the entertainment was all in Spanish and this was not explained when booked. The pool didn’t open till 11am which I have never heard off before. All inclusive was not with the pool bar, which is not acceptable. I would advise English people not to go as there is nothing to do due to being more aimed at the Spanish. This was for my husbands 50th birthday so. Wry disappointed with Jet 2 advertising this is a great family destination
